Craps To Play

You can find anything and everything in Las Vegas, and soon, Las Vegas may be known as one of the art capitals of the world.

Now I'm not talking about mud wrestling or the Follies or pole dancers, etc., that's part of the performing arts that has been well established here for years.

Nope, I'm talking about the fine arts, or pictures, e.g, of the type found in places such as The Louvre or The Metropolitan Museum of art, not paintings of Elvis on velvet or posters of Siegfried and Roy.

Las Vegas already has a considerable amount of fine art, such as the gallery at The Bellagio; but plans are afoot to bring much more.

There will be $40 million bucks spent on art for the new Las Vegas City Center Hotel and Casino which is currently under construction.

You can bet that the other Las Vegas Strip casinos will start doing the same thing to avoid being the only property without classic artwork.
